Deep-Fry Oreos At Home Like A Shot

It is remarkably easy to make these rain-and-shine snacks at home with Crumb’s deep-fried Oreos mix.  Just grab your favourite pack of Oreo cookies and get ready to taste the traditional style Oreos at home. To experience the twist, you can even get other popular flavours of Oreos like Peanut Butter Oreo, Red Velvet Oreo, Gingerbread Oreo, Marshmallow Oreo and so on. Let’s discuss how to get started.

Ingredients:

  • Crumb’s Mix
  • Oreos
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Water
  • Toppings of your choice

Step 1: Start the Preparation

Take a saucepan and heat up to 4 cups of vegetable oil on a medium heat temperature not exceeding 370 degrees.

Step 2: Stir & Rest

Take a medium bowl, blend crumb’s Oreos mix and water together to make a perfectly smooth beat with a spoon or a whisker. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Step 3: Fry Up

Bring on the pack of Oreos and dip them one after the other into the batter and pass them carefully into the saucepan. Let them cook for 2 to 3 minutes until each side turns golden brown. Pick them out with a fry basket holder and drop them over a paper towel to drain off that extra oil. Finish the look with powdered sugar and serve them warm with an ice-cream on the side.

Recipe FAQs

Where can we store deep-fried Oreos?

It is always recommended to store fried cookies in a refrigerator or you can even put them in an airtight container for some days. Avoid storing them for weeks as they will turn flabby.

Is it ok to freeze fried Oreos?

Well, yes. You can save deep-fried Oreos for later by refrigerating in a zip lock bag. Must heat them up before eating, however, the taste won’t stay as it was on the very first day of cooking.
