No Mess - Deep Fried Oreos Recipe

Who doesn't love Oreos especially when they are deeply fried? These little heavenly cookies are totally loved by kids and almost everyone. An ideal option to add on birthday menus, Halloween and Christmas parties. Requires no such costly ingredients, just a pack of Crumbs Deep-Fried Oreos mix and a pack of Oreos, the luscious cookies will get ready in just 20 minutes.

The Crumbs Carnival Treats has put together all the ingredients into one deep-fried Oreos mix to keep you away from the mess and stress of organising all ingredients, making it completely worth cheating the diet. Here adding a step-by-step guide to make perfectly fried Oreos at home.

How to make deep-fried Oreos at home?

  • Add vegetable oil, Olive or Canola oil to the pan or deep-fryer and let it heat to 190 degrees C.
  • Pick a bowl and stir Deep Fried Oreos mix and water to make an unwrinkled batter. Just make sure that batter should be smooth and does not include any dry lumps or should not be too thin. If the batter drops right away from the Oreos, you can add 1 more tablespoon of Oreos mix to the batter.
  • Open your pack of Oreos and dip them one at a time with a fork or a tong and place it straight to the hot oil.
  • To avoid overcrowding in the pan, just put 4 to 5 Oreos and let them cook for about 2 minutes until they turn crispy and light brown.
  • Remove the extra oil with a paper towel and garnish this irresistible Oreos with Powdered sugar. You can also add a dollop of ice cream or blueberry jam or any other choice of toppings before serving.
  • The chocolaty and creamy deep-fried Oreos are ready to go straight in your stomach.

How many calories does deep-fried Oreos have?

It's truly said that the calories do not count when it's a holiday season or an off from work. But do you know how long it would take to burn a single deep-fried oreo? A single ore0 fried cookie has 156 calories with 16g of carbs, 9g of fat and 1g of protein which will take approx 23 minutes of cycling, 15 minutes of running and 57 minutes of cleaning. So, if you are quite a calorie-conscious then make sure to double-check the calorie content before binge eating.
